Sometimes when we are hurting, we usually concentrate on our issues, and we forget to praise God even for our current situations. Ecclesiastes 7:14 When times are good, be happy; but when the times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future. This is the truth, God has made both the good times and the hard times, and as we lay our heads to sleep, we don’t know whether we will wake up the next morning dead or alive, we don’t know if we will get sick, we don’t know what tomorrow holds, everything we have is vanity. SO whats there to live for? If we will all die one day, why do we work? why do we tire ourselves, yet we know that we will one day die? Some people might say there is nothing to live for, they are wrong! We have something to live for, we have hope and that hope is Jesus Christ, the son of the living God. God saw everything that was going on in life, and He planned for His own son to come down to earth, live with the mortals, live with the sinners and die for them so that they can have HOPE in life.
Jesus died so that we may have a life that has a meaning, so that we don’t have to be empty, but rather that we may have something to look forward to, a life forever with Him in paradise. When sin entered the world through one man, salvation and redemption also entered this world through one man called Jesus Christ, we don’t have to stand condemned because of sin, but that we are justified through Christ our Lord and Saviour. No one said life would be easy, no one said that we won’t have struggles; hardships are part of life, they make us grow, they make us strong. Someone once said “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” and so we shouldn’t face life with our heads bowed down to the ground, but rather we should face life with our heads held high, because we have HOPE through Jesus Christ. Praise Him, as you wait on Him for your miracle, praise Him even when you don’t feel like it, praise Him even when the world around you is crumbling down, just PRAISE Him as you wait on Him. Thessalonians 5:16-17 Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Those who are not saved and who don’t know the Lord, come to Jesus, accept Him as your Saviour, He doesn’t promise that you won’t get hardships, but He promises that even in those hardships, He will stick closer than a brother, He will make a way where there seems to be no way. He will walk with you, He will give you His peace such that when the world around you is chaotic, you will be peaceful, you will be focused and you will stay on course!
