Prayerlessness

The Bible commands us to pray to our father in Heaven. The disciples of Jesus asked him how they should pray, of which He answered:-

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever amen.

The Lord’s prayer is the simplest prayer that anyone of us can pray. That the will of our father in heaven will be done in our lives. I know it’s been said time and time again that we need to let go, and let God. But still unfortunately many of us don’t do that, we don’t let the will of God reign over us. We hold on to hurt, pain, disappointments, instead of letting it go. The longer we hold on to our pain and suffering, the longer we stay in our situations, we don’t move on. And when we don’t move on, the will of the father isn’t done in our lives.

Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Every single day we get hurt by someone or something, but the Bible commands us to Forgive. If you don’t forgive, you become a person full of anger and hatred towards others. You might be angry at your boss, instead of leaving your office matters at work, you come home and take it off on your children or even your spouse, how will that help you? It won’t it will just make you feel even worse! Anger is just but for a minute, but the effects can last a lifetime. Forgive! Forgive! Let go of the pain and hurt to enable you move forward. And when you do, your heart Will be at peace and you won’t feel a “kiwaru”.
Let your life be prayerful, full of praise and thanksgiving to the Father. Don’t be prayerless, don’t be ungrateful to God, the least you can do is thank Him for the gift of life. Prayers yield fruit, because our God is faithful and just and He will reward us according to His riches in Glory. Prayerlessness on the other hand makes us not to be one with the father. When  you don’t pray, the windows of heaven are shut, but when you pray you give God permission to work in your life. Sometimes we are so down that we don’t know what to say, it’s times like these that His strength is made perfect in us, cry out to Him and just let Him know that you’ve reached a point in your life that only Him can take charge and control, and when you do that, He makes the necessary changes. But He can’t act until you give Him permission through your prayers

I know this message is for someone out there who is still struggling on if to believe the plans of God over their lives, to accept the changes that have taken place, all I can say is that God is the only person who knows why for whatever reason that your going through what you are, but even in that situation you are in, allow Him to move in your life, He will change your situation and very soon, you will give a testimony of what God has done!!
