Have you seen someone who was angry with you, yet you were not the cause of their misfortunes? Lashing out on you like an angry lion and your left wondering, what did I do wrong?
Sometimes we do the craziest, most foolish of behaviours. You quarrel with your spouse but instead of talking it out with them, you lash out on your children. You quarrel with your boss at work, don’t get nothing done at work, come home angry and lash out on whoever you find at home, kids, house girl, or even your spouse. Is it that we don’t know how to fight our own battles, or are we too scared to confront the person we are truly angry at? Why are we picking fights that aren’t even necessary?
Though sometimes the issues and problems of life could be wearing you down and you don’t know where to take out your anger or life’s disappointments to. What do you do? You pick on the weaker person, or the most convenient, who has no option but rather watch as you lash out. Instead of dealing with the problem, we look for temporary solutions that don’t even help us. Some people will take to the bottle and partying, others will stay at home, but make sure everyone’s life is miserable. Your children see you and run, they don’t know how to talk to you or relate with you.
Sickness, diseases, finances, unemployment, are issues that can wear us down if not taken to the one and only person who can deal with them properly. At the feet of Jesus is where we need to lay down all our burdens, cast all our cares because He cares for us. To know that He has already got our back! He has it under control, you only need to surrender to Him. That doesn’t mean that trials or tribulations won’t come, it only means that even when they do, you will come out victorious, a winner in Christ Jesus our Lord.
No matter what life brings to you, remember this:- Psalms 23 The Lord is my shephard I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint me head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Blessings!!
