For Every Action, There is a Re-percussion

They say for every action, there is a re-percussion. What is a re-percussion? The dictionary puts it as, a result, effect, produced by an action, reciprocal motion after impact!

Karma is a Hindu word that basically means “the sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences” or destiny or fate, following as effect from cause.

There are so many lessons that we learn from life, unfortunately people still choose to do the opposite. The good you do today will follow you; the bad you do today will also follow you. One example is this; we are selling our inheritance, our birthrite to investors who have money, not realising that the people who will be in trouble are our grand children and great grand children. They will have no land, they will have no place of worship they will be like foreigners in their own country. Why? Because their fathers and mothers sold their land because they got an offer they ‘couldn’t resist’, didn’t invest and gave someone else their rite in this land! It will eventually come to bite us.

Can you kneel before God, worship Him and still hate your brother? How can you love what you don’t see and hate what you see? We have become such hypocrites, pretence is the order of our daily lives. 1John 4:16 God is Love, whoever lives in love, lives in God, and God in him. Don’t go deceiving yourself as the ‘holier than thou’ kind of people, yet you hold absolutely no respect and love for the other person! All the disrespect, inhuman behaviour towards your family and everyone at large, may not follow you now, but may follow your children. Therefore put a stop to your foolish behavior and repent!

Men who think that being a player is a good thing, going round using and dumping ladies as if they were toilet paper, a time will come when you will get children and girls to be precise. Would you like some one else to use them and dump them just like you did? Am sure your answer is no! Unfaithful partners, when your wife or husband keeps quiet on you and yet they know your unfaithful, doesn’t make you a Macho man! Or a Macho woman, they will reach their breaking point and when they do, ain’t nothing you say to them will make them stay! You will loose your family and your actions would have caused it! Therefore put a stop to your foolish behavior and repent!

Why have we become such hypocrites? Why are we accepting something which is utterly wrong, to be something as right? Why are we allowing ourselves to be deceived by foolishness which lasts, just but a moment? This foolishness will eventually cost us later!

Consider this, James 1:26-27 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world!
