Life keeps moving everyday, it doesn’t stop; both my sons upgraded to the next class and they seem to like their new environment. Coincidentally, yesterday they both came home with maths homework and it was addition sums, but my youngest son does his counting out loud, everyone hears him….. he cracks me up! As he kept counting and counting and before he writes the answer, he says “together” and so he adds the sums together to get the answer. As He did this, I realised that is exactly the same way that God operates with us, using mathematics!
Well from the time that you were born, its being addition all the way, your years have being adding up as you grew up from a baby into an adult. Our years don’t deduct, they keep adding and adding until the day God shall say its the end! Apart from adding your years, you’ve added teeth, which you didn’t have at birth, you’ve added the little hair (if any) you had at birth, to a full head! Everything about you has being added, you didn’t stay as a baby, you grew. Therefore why do we keep subtracting? You see God doesn’t subtract anything from what He added, no He doesn’t do that, when it comes to subtraction, it us who do it. How you may ask?
You see God loves us so much that He sent His one and only begotten Son to come to earth and die for us, God gave us a Saviour, He added to us life! If you accept Christ, you receive life, but if you reject Him, you subtract your won life! Yes you will continue living like everyone else, and yes life may seem to be normal, but dare not leave this earth without Christ as your seal! A day is coming, a day when we will all answer to one person, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords; if you added Christ as your Lord and Saviour, then you are safe, but if you didn’t add Christ, instead you rejected Him by subtracting Him from your life, then woe unto you! because you shall be thrown into the lake burning with fire and brimstone! nothing will be added unto you! you will weep and mourn for eternity!
I recently learned from our Bishop that those who added Christ as their Lord and Saviour, will be added more gifts, these gifts are clearly stated out in the Bible:-
1Corinthians 9:24-25 The Imperishable Crown “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate (disciplined) in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown” (NKJV) We are running a race, are you running to receive an imperishable crown? or are you just seeking worldly crowns? choose wisely.
1Thessalonians 2:19 The Crown of Joy “For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when He comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our Glory and Joy” (NIV) When we get to Heaven, God will wipe every tear from our eyes, there shall be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying! Isn’t this great, that we shall leave everything that we have endured on earth, every pain and sorrow! we will not carry it into Heaven and God shall trade all these with a crown of Joy and rejoicing!
2Timothy 4:8 The Crown of Righteousness “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” Righteousness comes only through Jesus Christ!
1Peter 5:4 The crown of Glory “And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of Glory that does not fade away” We have all seen worldly crowns, but Peter tells us, that when Christ appears, we shall receive the crown of Glory! His Glory, God’s Glory!
Revelation 2:10 The crown of Life “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the Crown of Life.” This is Jesus Himself speaking these words, and He clearly says that we will suffer persecution, rejection and all sorts of trials. Some of us are in prison, some are coming out! Jesus tells us to endure even if it means that we will die because of Him, He shall reward us with the crown of Life!

The increase is so abundant.. God bless u with encouraging words.
