This Throw back Thursday, why not reminisce on what being Born again is all about?
I have heard people saying that being born again is something that Jesus didn’t speak about and I wonder, what Bible do you read? Jesus was the first person to evangelise and speak of salvation, He Himself was salvation to mankind, how could He not speak about it? But then again, I guess its because some people would like to justify as to why they do not want to get born again, and so make up stories and try and justify their wrongs.
Jesus is the go to man when it comes to salvation, John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. God is a loving God and because of His love for us, He didn’t want to see everyone perish and so He made a way, and that way is Jesus Christ. Jesus didn’t come to condemn us, call us sinners, make us fill guilty and then leave unannounced! no He didn’t, He’s was a greater plan, He died on the Cross so that we didn’t have to die a spiritual death, but receive life in Him. How amazing is that? Take time today and just focus on people who have being in your life, have they ever died for you? No! and even if they claim that they would, they are mortal men, their death and blood doesn’t wash away our sins, only Jesus does that, He’s the Saviour of the world.
John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. There, its all written in ink and clear for all to see, we need to be born again, we need to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. No one will step into Heaven and yet they do not have the seal of God, none whatsoever, and so we need to change our ways, accept Christ and live a life that is full of blessings in Him.
To be Born Again is a cool thing, it’s the in thing! everything else will pass away, but His words will not, they will come to pass! You think you have time? you don’t, time waits for no man. You think your still young? well everyday that passes by, you keep growing older and older by the day and truth is you will not remain young forever! Don’t waste time until it is too late! The time to be born again is now. To know Jesus is to receive life everlasting, everything else is a fake!
You don’t have to be ashamed of Jesus, He’s the coolest guy you will ever find!
