Jesus

Revelation 1:7 Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.

Every Word that has being written in the Bible will come to pass, every single Word! That said, Our Lord is coming soon and every eye will see Him, every knee will bow down to Him! The Bible also says that the ‘peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him,’ why should that happen? why mourn yet our Lord has come back to get us and take us home where we shall live with Him forever and ever? Why mourn, yet this is the day that I have being waiting for all my life? I shouldn’t have to mourn should I? But guess what? It shall be! The peoples of the earth will mourn because they will be realizing, that everything about Jesus was true, His life, His ministry, His saving Grace and His dying on the cross for us. But for some it will be a matter of too little too late….

Have you ever been told something by someone and you thought they were lying to you only to realize that they were actually telling the truth? How did that feel? We’ve all gone through such a scenario and honestly it feels really dumb and silly! and most of the times we go like, “why didn’t I listen?,” “why didn’t I do anything about it.?” Well in life when this happens, we usually have tones of chances to rectify our mistakes, but the day that Christ comes, it will be the very END!

Question is, Do we know this great man that will come with the clouds? have we heard about Him? I could be wrong, but is there anyone who hasn’t heard about Jesus? After all, am thinking, even if someone doesn’t preach to you about Jesus, His found in most history books, He’s also found in other religions which refer Jesus as a prophet of God, but then again, we live in times of technology, you can ‘search’ for Jesus in any search engine and you will get all the answers that you need.

Once you become a believer, “do we know the power that we posses in the name of Jesus,” do we? Or are we walking around like people who do not know who they are? Has it always being a case of uncertainty? and if so why? Take a look back at the children of Israel, they had seen miracle after miracle, but still they sinned, they doubted! they disobeyed. One of the miracles that still keeps my jaw wide opened is the parting of the Red Sea. They had reached the very end of the road, they were done! no where to run to and they cried out to Moses, Exodus 14:11 “was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die?” but Moses answered the people Exodus 14:13-14 “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today, you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” But I love what the Lord said to Moses in verse 15 of the same chapter, “ Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.” And so it was that the sea parted and the Israelites crossed over on dry ground with waters high up, and the sea animals looking on and thinking what are these creatures walking on our territory?

We have all reached some sort of red sea, did we stand firm to see the deliverance of the Lord? Did we move forward and let Him part the seas for us? or did we get tired and started looking for another way out? an easier way out? You see when the Israelites left Egypt, God did not lead them on the road through the philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” So God led the people around the desert road toward the Red Sea Exodus 13:17-18. Isn’t this the same for us? shortcuts really don’t lead us anywhere do they? they might seem short, but will lead to more problems (wars), however if we keep to the way that has being laid out for us by God, then by all means we will emerge victorious, we just have to call on the name that is above every other name and this name will save us, we only need to be still.

Truth be told, the streams and storms in your life will rise, but guess what, Jesus will carry us through the storm and get us to the other side! but the toughest thing that remains with us is to trust Him and trust Him completely! Trusting means, we will have to let go of all our ‘fears’ and ‘what if’s,’ and continue marching forth knowing that He will never leave our side.

This same Jesus has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you Luke 10:19 We don’t need to walk in disbelief. Has God being doing miracle after miracle in your life and that of people around you but still you think its all nothing? your thinking its just side shows? Jesus gave a stern warning, “However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.” Luke 10:20 What Jesus is telling us here is this, yes He’s given us power in His powerful name, but, we should first check ourselves and find out if our names are written in the Lambs Book of Life. This is done only by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, there are no shortcuts to this!

Why then are people playing hard to get? why are walking around like we will never do this? how ignorant are we? why are we rejecting the Chief Corner Stone? The big day is fast approaching, no one knows when it will be, when we will all bow down before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I don’t know about you, but am not waiting until that day to bow down! am bowing down now and declaring to the whole world, that I serve Jesus Christ! The First Born of all creation, all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things hold together Colossians 1:16-17

Blessings!!
