It’s typical that the wife knows more about the husband than he does about her. In very few cases and or circumstances will you find the husband knowing everything about the wife. You would find a husband asking what his ID number or passport number is and the wife will answer without even looking, while if you asked him about his wife’s numbers, he wouldn’t even have a clue. Some are so clueless, that they even haven’t memorised their partners mobile numbers and every time they need to call them, they have to start looking at phone book instead of just dialling directly. Well such is the marriage chronicles, and such are our partners, but what to do? Was talking to my husband about this, and yes he did admit that he doesn’t know some stuff, and I asked him why I know his personal details and he didn’t and he was left speechless.

Daniel speaks of God revealing the deep hidden things in Daniel 2:22 “He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him.” Daniel said this about the Lord when the Lord showed him the dream that king Nebuchadnezzar had.
When we started off our relationship and walk with God, we didn’t know much about Him, but the Holy Spirit convicted us of our sins and so we took a step of faith. Just like a child grows up and learns how to sit, how to walk, how to eat solid food, so it should be the same in our walk with God. You will not join salvation now and immediately eat solid food, but how you walk with God will determine everyday how you get to know Him. Some people got saved a long time ago, but never grew, they are still eating baby food, they haven’t grown, while others, got saved, grew in salvation and are now walking and taking solid foods, then you will find that those who are still on baby food, criticising the others, that they have become ‘too much know’! Just because you aren’t growing, doesn’t mean that every one else won’t grow. The ones that take their walk with God seriously will want to know God more and more everyday. He is available to all and all He ever wanted and wants us to do, is to know Him.
Am not perfect, no one is except God, But I will strive everyday to work out my salvation with fear and trembling, to know what my Father in Heaven expects of me and to make Him happy. If we so passionately as humans want our earthly parents to be proud of us, what of our Father in Heaven? As God spoke highly of Job in the Bible, may He speak highly of you and smile over you.
