Believe

For you to do anything you have to believe in yourself. If your in athletics, you always go to compete with the mindset of winning, there is no one who goes to compete knowing they will be last. The same goes for boxers, racing cars, skating and all other forms of competition. Even when we do exams, we always believe that we will pass. If you believe you can do something, then for sure you will, but anytime you let fear come in, then you will surely fail.

The same way that we have to believe in ourselves in whatever that we do, is the same way that we have to believe in God whenever we ask Him for something. How can you go to God and ask Him for deliverance, only to doubt if He can actually perform it? You have gone though tough times, to the point that you think that God has completely forgotten you, and so you loose trust in Him and doubt clouds your minds. Remember, fear is the biggest tool that the devil uses on us, whenever fear comes in, faith has no place to work in our lives it goes out the window. Isaiah 43:1-2 says “Fear not for I am with you, I have summoned you by name, you are mine. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. God has given us this promise, why then do we fret?

The only currency that is used in Heaven is Faith, we first have to believe that God exists, believe that Jesus died on the cross for us and believe that He is coming again to take us home with Him. If we doubt Him, If we don’t believe in Him, if we don’t have faith, we cannot please God. When a child is born, it depends on its mother for its very existence, it suckles for milk immediately its born, yet the mothers milk takes a bit of time before it comes. The baby will not at any time think to itself that the milk will not come,  and so it gives up, but rather it continues to suckle, which in-turn stimulates the milk glands and the milk starts flowing. Ad like to take the example of a baby suckling on milk, that is yet to come as a sign of hope. This is exactly what we are supposed to be doing, continue praying even when we still don’t see results, what you are doing is stimulating, stirring up, moving God with your faith, and He will answer you, you will overflow like a river.

When you pray, believe, have faith in God and have faith in yourself to carry out what you are supposed to do. Matthew 17:20 “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
