Who is the Holy Spirit? He is part of the Trinity, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When Jesus Christ left this earth, He said that He would send us a Helper, who was the Holy Spirit of God, He is our comforter. Our God is a consuming fire. Fire goes before Him and consumes his foes on every side.
When the Holy Spirit first came to the disciples, there was a rushing wind, and tongues of fire rested on each of the disciples. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is also available to us now, when we receive Him, we also receive power. He gives us power to witness, boldness to declare the word. Spirit of truth, He testifies the word of God, He teaches us the things of God, He convicts us of our sins, He leads us in paths of righteousness. He strengthens, encourages, comforts, helps us in our weakness, He intercedes on our behalf.
The fire of the Holy Spirit will burn and destroy each and every attack that has been planned to destroy you. He is our protector, and He will surround you with His Fire such that nothing will come near you and harm you! This is the assurance and heritage of the servants of the Lord, that no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper, and we shall refute every tongue that accuses us!
