Gracefully Broken. Beautifully Becoming.
Psalm 23, a beautiful Psalm that we can all use during different seasons in our lives.
Fifth anniversary is here, the tears still roll, the heart still aches but the acceptance has finally come π a painfull acceptance that I will never see my father on this side of earth ever again β that is the hardest thing to write, but itβs a truth I have battled with and itβs a truth that I will hold in my heart.
Grief can take you to a whole new level of darkness where all you see is darkness so deep that you can actually feel it.
God is the architect of our lives, therefore trust Him. He sees the end from the beginning and weaves every detail for His glory. Even when we donβt understand His plans, we can trust that He is working for our good.
No one ever prepares you for the silence that follows after you have buried your loved one! Have you ever thought of how grief looks like in silence? What most people donβt see that only those who are grieving do? Iβll tell you. Reality dawns in!
Nothing prepares you for the silence that follows with the pain of loss of a loved one. Not the prayers, not the strength you thought you had and not even the words from well-meaning friends – & I had them.
